Outdoor Autumn Baby Photoshoot in Sussex

I really love Autumn and I really love photographing children and babies outside in this season. Running through piles of fallen leaves never gets old, no matter how old you are. I love seeing the changing colour of the trees, the sun getting lower in the sky, the cosiness when the Autumn chill sets in. And to prove just how lovely it is, take a peek at these images from a recent baby photography session Sussex.

PHOTOGRAPHING BABIES OUTDOORS IN THE AUTUMN

This baby photography session took place in early September in a lovely park in Hastings, East Sussex. There was only a hint of a chill thanks to all that glorious Autumn sunshine, which was just perfect. The session was all about a gorgeous little 6 month old boy. He was a such a sweet, happy little thing and he only had eyes for mummy. Every smile you see here (and there were a lot) were all for her. Here are a few of my favourites...

CHOOSING THE RIGHT OUTFITS FOR YOUR BABY PHOTOSHOOT

It can be daunting trying to decide what to dress your child in for a baby photography session but this little boy got it spot on. With simple grey trousers, a plain white t-shirt and a couple of different jumpers we were able to capture a variety of looks. The colours all work well for the time of year. These images will look great hanging on the wall no matter the room decor. What you wear is important if you don’t want your images to date.
